●Synthetic sleepers are highly durable and lightweight railway sleepers made from rigid polyurethane foam (a type of plastic) and glass fiber. They offer the same workability as wooden sleepers but are corrosion-resistant, lighter than concrete, and boast a lifespan of over 30 years. Unlike standard concrete sleepers used in track sections, synthetic sleepers are used in areas requiring particularly high durability and ease of installation, such as turnouts (points) and bridges.

◆An electric point track featuring synthetic sleepers, perfect for enjoying the atmospheric running experience of modern trains, is now available. The DC point machine is compactly housed within the track bed, offering both realistic appearance and flexible track layout options. Following the user-friendly Unitrack standard, it can also be used to expand M1-PC track sets.


◆We will also be releasing the PC curved track R718-15° and PC straight track 64mm, which are necessary when constructing a track layout using the Electric Point No. 6.

*Although it is a "composite sleeper," the track abbreviation (suffix) will be "PC".

●Composite Sleeper Electric Point No. 6 (Left/Right)
- A typical point, with a large radius (R718) curve on the diverging side to allow trains to pass at high speed.
- A clean appearance with a built-in DC point machine.
- Reproduces the appearance of currently popular synthetic sleepers.
- Functions and specifications other than the appearance follow the same rail power supply selection system as the existing Electric Point No. 6.
*A separately sold point switch (24-840BK) is required to operate the point machine.

●PC Curved Track R718-15°/PC Straight Track 64mm
- Reproduces PC (concrete) sleepers that became popular after the 1950s, allowing you to enjoy a wide range of trains from conventional lines on major trunk lines to Shinkansen.

- The ballast surface, lower than that of double tracks, emphasizes the three-dimensional effect. Furthermore, by scattering various ballasts sold separately (such as 24-039), it is possible to arrange the track appearance to your liking, such as high-standard tracks.
- The PC curved track R718-15° is a non-cant specification. Fully compatible with existing wooden sleeper tracks.
- Unijoiners are used for connection, ensuring reliable power supply and secure coupling.
- Used when installing island platforms using electric point No. 6.
- The PC straight track comes in a pack of 4, matching the other tracks.
