Tomix 8761 N-Scale Private Freight Car, Taki 29300 Series (Early Model, Furukawa Co., Ltd. Type)

The Taki 29300 series is a tank car manufactured since 1976 specifically for concentrated sulfuric acid. Owned by Furukawa Co., Ltd. (Furukawa Mining), the car was initially based primarily at Ashio Station.
After freight service on the Ashio Line was discontinued, it was used as a base station at Kosaka Station on the Kosaka Railway, but was retired when the railway was abolished in 2008. Currently, Taki 29312 is preserved in working order at Ashio Station.
During public exhibitions held every spring and fall, the car is towed by a locomotive for demonstration runs.
