The Taki 1900 series cement tank car, with a carrying capacity of 40 tons, began production in 1964.
Currently, this type of tank car only operates between the Higashi-Fujiwara section of the Sanki Railway and the Yokkaichi section of the JR Kansai Main Line.
A distinctive feature of the Taki 1900 series tank car manufactured by Pacific Cement Corporation is the large hatch located in the center of the top.
