Magnorail has introduced a new Track cover supports made of 8 mm thick MDF wood, adapted to the height of the track, to facilitate the laying of a covering.


The SO-9 reference is specially designed to surround the motor module, ensuring a clean and continuous finish across your entire installation.

As requested by many model makers, Magnorail is pleased to announce the arrival of the track cover support! This accessory hides the drive system while making it easier to lay track sheets on your layouts.


Discover the SO-9, the complementary track cover support for the motor module

The SO-9 is a reference specially designed to complete the Magnorail track cover supports by offering a solution adapted to the motor module. It integrates perfectly with setups using the SO-11, SO-12 and SO-13 references, and is also suitable for motor modules sold individually (Uma-2, Umb-2, Umc-2) as part of an extension.


A clean finish for perfect integration

The motor module is a key component of the Magnorail system and requires special attention during installation to prevent any derailment of the chain later on. An improper cover support can cause the top layer to come loose and disrupt the smooth functioning of the system. The SO-9 solves this issue by providing a wider, perfectly flat, strong, and durable covering surface.

Moreover, thanks to its neat design, it fits the complex curves of the motor module perfectly, without obstructing maintenance operations (accessible from underneath).

During presentations of the Magnorail animation system at exhibitions, these cover track supports were shown on several modules as a prototype for a series of ‘life-size’ tests. This resulted in regular requests from model makers who wanted a simple solution for integrating the Magnorail track into a realistic setting without complicated DIY work.
