As requested by many model makers, Magnorail is pleased to announce the arrival of the track cover support! This accessory hides the drive system while making it easier to lay track sheets on your layouts.


Discover the SO-13, the mixed track cover for total flexibility

The SO-13 is the perfect solution to cover 60 cm of track in a mixed configuration, combining straight lines and curves. This kit lets you customize your layout with straight and curved sections according to your preferences.

Clean, quick and customised installation

Made of 8 mm thick MDF wood, this cover track support is perfectly positioned at the correct height of the Magnorail track. It provides a uniform surface for easy installation of road surfaces, pavements or any other covering, without complex adjustments or risk of deformation.


A kit adapted to straight lines and curves
The SO-13 includes:

✅ 4 large straight elements to cover 16 cm segments
✅ 6 small elements with a lower opening
✅ 9 small elements with a higher opening


This kit covers 60 cm of track, equivalent to one UE-1 extension, mixing 20 cm of straight line, 20 cm of curve, and the remaining portion can be adapted to your layout—either as a straight line or a curve. It also covers 1/3 of an Expert Set (BF-2, BS-2, and BV-2), each of which contains 3 x 60 cm of track.

The SO-13 is part of a complete system along with SO-11 (straight lines) and SO-12 (curves), which also cover 60 cm of track.


💡 For an Expert Set (BF-2, BS-2, BV-2), you just need 3 references of your choice from SO-11, SO-12, and SO-13 to fit your layout!

You can also complement your setup with the SO-9 reference, containing two pieces specially designed to surround the motor module.


A direct response to the needs of model makers

During presentations of the Magnorail animation system at exhibitions, these cover track supports were shown on several modules as a prototype for a series of ‘life-size’ tests. This resulted in regular requests from model makers who wanted a simple solution for integrating the Magnorail track into a realistic setting without complicated DIY work.
