Magnorail has introduced a new Track cover supports made of 8 mm thick MDF wood, adapted to the height of the track, to facilitate the laying of a covering.
This reference is specially designed to cover the entire length of track with a basic set (95 cm) and consists of 2 pieces to perfectly surround the drive module and 34 small pieces to follow the curves of the flexible track as desired (14 pieces with a low opening and 20 pieces with a high opening).
As requested by many model makers, Magnorail is pleased to announce the arrival of the SO-10 track cover supports for the Basic starter set! This accessory hides the drive system while making it easier to lay track sheets on your layouts.
Clean, quick and customised installation
Made of 8 mm thick MDF wood, this cover track support is perfectly positioned at the correct height of the Magnorail track. It provides a uniform surface for easy installation of road surfaces, pavements or any other covering, without complex adjustments or risk of deformation.
A kit consisting of 3 elements:
- 1 element for the drive module
- 2 elements for the curved track, differentiated by the position of the opening allowing the track to be screwed in (one top opening and one bottom opening)
This kit is specially adapted to the Basic Magnorail starter set and is the first in a range of track coverings to come.

Magnorail is an extremely flexible track, allowing for varied and personalised trajectories. But this sometimes made it difficult to fit the track, especially when it came to finding materials that were easy to adjust to the right height. The SO-10 track covering solves these problems:

A direct response to the needs of model makers
During presentations of the Magnorail animation system at exhibitions, these cover track supports were shown on several modules as a prototype for a series of ‘life-size’ tests. This resulted in regular requests from model makers who wanted a simple solution for integrating the Magnorail track into a realistic setting without complicated DIY work.
