KATO 176-5626 N-gauge EMD SD90/43MAC CP #9136 Canadian Pacific Railway diesel locomotive.

The EMD SD90/43MAC is a 6,000-horsepower electric diesel locomotive with a C-C axle configuration and AC motor drive. Weighing 400,000 pounds (approximately 181 metric tons) and measuring over 80 feet (approximately 24 meters) in length, it boasts an impressive 4,300 horsepower of tractive effort. The SD90/43MAC, along with the SD80MAC, is considered one of the most powerful single-engine diesel locomotives in the United States.
This model has undergone three major production versions. The SD90/43MAC was originally designed with a 6,000-horsepower engine, but due to its stability and reliability, most railroads opted for the smaller but more reliable 4,300-horsepower engine. Even when the manufacturer offered an upgrade option, this was not replaced. The most distinctive feature is the large radiator structure that stretches to the width of the vehicle.

Powerful KATO five-pole motor with dual brass flywheels provides strong pulling power.
The headlights feature a directional switch function, and the vehicle number plate is printed.
Equipped with a KATO magnetic connector.
It is DCC-friendly and can be directly installed with the corresponding decoder.
It can be upgraded to DCC using the Digitrax DN163K2 or Train Control Systems K2D4 plug-in decoders.
