SBB RAe TEEⅡ “Gottardo” 6-Car Set

● The RAe Ⅱ is an AC/DC electric multiple unit (EMU) exclusively for international trains operated by the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB). Introduced in the 1960s, it served as a first-class international train, the "TEE" (Trans Europ Express), including the "Gottardo" between Zurich and Milan. Later, it underwent downgrade modifications and a change of paint scheme, operating as a "EuroCity" until around 1999. After its retirement, it was recognized as a historical vehicle by the Swiss Federal Railways, and around 2003, one train set was restored to its "TEE" era appearance after some equipment upgrades. It continues to operate as an event train today.

◆ We are pleased to present the RAe Ⅱ, revived in the form of the once-prestigious international train "TEE," and still in service today. It is an indispensable part of the history of international trains connecting various parts of Europe. Enjoy operating it alongside various international trains currently in service.
