Product Description
Manufactured by a consortium consisting of Siemens, Bombardier, and DWA, these electric multiple units (EMUs) are operated in Germany by DB Regio. While built on essentially identical vehicle designs, the Class 425 EMU consists of four cars, whereas the Class 426 EMU comprises only two cars. The ET 424 Köln S-Bahn currently operates in the Cologne (Köln) region of western Germany as an active S-Bahn service.
