Product Introduction
The Aichi Loop Railway is a 45.3-kilometer-long line connecting Okazaki Station on the Tokaido Main Line and Kozoji Station on the Chuo Main Line, passing through Shin-Toyota Station. Shin-Toyota Station connects with the Nagoya Railways Toyota Line and Mikawa Line.
It is the third section of the railway, opened in January 1988, consisting of the original Okazaki-Shin-Toyota section of the JSR Okazaki-Toyota Line and the newly built Shin-Toyota-Takakuraji section.
The Takakuraji to Setoguchi section is also operated by JR Tokai trains, allowing passengers to experience both the Aichi Loop Railway and JR trains.
From 2002 to 2009, the Aichi Loop Railway 2000 series trains, based on the 313 and 3000 series, were put into operation, and are currently in service along the entire line.
In 2005, during the Aichi Expo, this route was used by many people as a rail transport to the venue.

- Utilizes a brand-new mold and features two PS27 single-arm pantographs, faithfully reproducing its unique design.
- Blue interior seats.
- Power unit uses the highly acclaimed GM-5 motor, ensuring stable operation.
- All vehicle connections use body-mounted KATO close-coupled couplers (no hook). A two-section electrical coupler for the front end is also included.
*When operating in conjunction with previous products, the headstock coupler needs to be replaced with the hookless coupler used in this product.
- Headlights/taillights are illuminated. A switch is included.
