Kato 10-2154 N Scale Aichi Loop Railway Series 2000 (Blue Stripe) 2-Car Set
● The Aichi Loop Railway is a 45.3 km line connecting Okazaki Station on the Tokaido Main Line to Kozoji Station on the Chuo Main Line, via Shin-Toyota Station, where it connects with the Nagoya Railroad Toyota Line and Mikawa Line. The line opened in January 1988 (Showa 63) as a third-sector railway, combining the former JNR Okata Line section between Okazaki and Shin-Toyota with the newly built Shin-Toyota to Kozoji section.
Between 2002 (Heisei 14) and 2009 (Heisei 21), the Aichi Loop Railway Series 2000, based on the JR 313-3000 series design, was introduced and operates across the entire line. Starting March 13, 2025 (Reiwa 7), a commemorative train recreating the design used during the 2005 Aichi Expo (Expo 2005 Aichi / Ai-Chikyuhaku) began service to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the event.
