Kato 10-2140 N scale E231 Series 0 Musashino Line 4-Car Basic Set


●The E231 Series on the Musashino Line began operation in 2017, converted from the Chuo-Sobu Local Line. A total of 34 trains were introduced and serve as the line's mainstay. From Nishi-Funabashi, they run directly to the Keiyo Line to Tokyo and Kaihin-Makuhari, and also operate on the Shimousa and Musashino trains to Omiya on the Tohoku Main Line and Hachioji on the Chuo Line.

◆The E231 Series 0, which operates on the Musashino Line, is now available as a new product. Enjoy these trains alongside popular models such as the 10-1495/1496 209 Series 500 Keiyo Line Color and 10-1870 255 Series, as well as the 10-1545 205 Series 5000 Musashino Line (Final Train), scheduled for release in December 2025, as well as freight trains.

① This product features the MU9 train set belonging to the Keiyo Rolling Stock Center.
② The silver front, different from the 209-500 series, and the JR markings on the front are positioned closer to the top of the stripe.
③ The destination display above the front window is reproduced without a film.
④ Cars 1-7 are equipped with AU725A roof-mounted air conditioners, while car 8 is equipped with AU725AG3.
⑤ The underfloor equipment of the updated Moha E230/Moha E231 is reproduced.
⑥ The leading car features head/taillights and front destination displays (using warm white LEDs).
⑦ The intermediate coupling section uses a body-mounted KATO close-coupled coupler (with hook). The leading section uses a dummy coupler.
⑧ The slotless motor ensures smooth and quiet running.
⑨ Wheelchair and stroller marks, and low-cooling car indicators are printed.
⑩ The bookcase in the add-on set can store the contents of the basic set.
