Vehicle Description
The 315-3000 series trains are all manufactured by Nippon Sharyo Corporation, using the company's new-generation brand "N-QUALIS".
The design concept of the "N-QUALIS" brand car body is based on safety, quality, and maintainability, characterized by a balance between safety and maintainability, and an emphasis on ensuring consistent quality.
The 315 series is the first train to fully adopt this new design concept.
The 3000 series consists of four cars and operates on multiple lines, including the Kansai Main Line (Nagoya to Kameyama section), the Taketoyo Line, the Tokaido Main Line (Obu to Ogaki section), and the Shizuoka area.
Its versatility, serving both lines in the Nagoya metropolitan area and regional lines, is a major highlight.
Another key feature of the 3000 series trains is the inclusion of side-mounted cameras to accommodate future single-driver requirements, with plans for further expansion.

Product Information
- This model is based on the C108 type train from the Kamiryu Depot. - This model replicates the train's configuration without door switches next to the passenger doors. Using the included stickers, you can recreate the appearance of the Shizuoka Depot, which has door switches installed.
- Both the center coupler and the front coupler use a hookless, close-coupled type (with a two-pole electrical connector at the front).
- The front display is pre-printed with "Nagoya Rapid Train". Replacement parts with "Hamamatsu Rapid Train", "Nakatsugawa Rapid Train", and "(blank)" lettering are also included.
- The safety cameras mounted on the sides of the cars are reproduced.
- The slotless motor ensures smooth and quiet operation.
- The headlights/taillights and the front destination display are illuminated (with a switch to turn them off). White LED lights are used.
- Destination display screen sticker included.
- Compatible with DCC systems.
