Kato 10-1824 N Scale Nagoya Coastal Railway ND552 Two-Car Set [Special Edition]

Nagoya Rinkai Railway was established in 1965 to meet the growing demand for rail transport due to the expansion of the Nagoya waterfront industrial zone in the 1950s and 1960s. The ND552 Series primarily operates on the Toko Line (Kasadera to Toko), Nanko Line (Toko to Nagoya Minami Freight), and Tochiku Line (Tochiku to Meiden Chikko). On the Toko and Nanko Lines, it transports the Toyota Longpass Express from Nagoya Minami Freight and limestone from Yabashi Industries (Ogaki) to Nippon Steel's Nagoya Works. Depending on the train, it can also be seen pulling multiple units.

◆Nagoya Rinkai Railway's flagship locomotive is now available in N gauge. Featuring a single headlight and distinctive bogie design, it can be used to pull a variety of freight trains. Combine it with freight station plates to recreate scenes of freight car shunting, recombining, and loading and unloading containers.

Key Features
① Nagoya Rinkai Railway ND552 Series Nos. 7 to 10 are now available. To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the line's opening in 2015, this two-car set features No. 7 in the original JNR livery, and No. 8-10 in the current livery adopted in 1995.
② Reproduces the distinctive single-lamp headlight and distinctively shaped DT105 bogie.
③ No. 7 (JNR livery)
- Beautifully reproduces the red and gray body color with a white stripe and the warning color of the end beams. The pattern under the front number plate is printed.
- The signal flares on the roof are gray, and the whistles are gold.
④ No. 8-10 (current livery)
- Beautifully reproduces the blue body color with a white stripe. The sign symbol under the front license plate is reproduced using the included lettering sheet.
- The roof-mounted signal flares and whistle are reproduced in light blue.
- The license plate is reproduced using the included lettering sheet.
⑤ The company emblem and manufacturer's plate on the side of the cab are printed with "Nissha" (red background).
⑥ A power unit with a flywheel ensures stable driving (with traction tires).
⑦ Headlights are illuminated (using warm white LEDs).
⑧ Arnold coupler is standard equipment. Replacement knuckle coupler included.
