Kato 10-1472 N Scale Eizan Electric Railway 900 Series Kirara (Maple Orange)

●Eizan Electric Railway is a private railway line that runs from Demachiyanagi in downtown Kyoto to Kurama, a tourist destination in northern Kyoto at the foot of Mount Kurama.

The 900 Series Kirara, which debuted in 1997, features large observation windows that allow passengers to enjoy panoramic seasonal views from inside the car. Two trains, painted in maple red and maple orange, are currently in service, evoking the autumn foliage.

●To commemorate the 90th anniversary of the Eizan Electric Railway Kurama Line's opening on December 1, 2018, one "Maple Red" train was repainted in "Maple Green," evoking the refreshing greenery of maple leaves. This train operated from March 21, 2019, to early December 2024.

◆We are reproducing the Eizan Electric Railway 900 series, affectionately known as "Kirara." You can enjoy the current "Kirara" with the "KEIHAN" logo, interior seat colors, and changed destination signs.
This affordable two-car train is capable of passing through the sharp R150 curve and is recommended for operation on small layouts using Unitrack Compact. The large observation windows also allow you to place dolls inside to create a lively interior. There is also a maple tunnel along the line, so we also recommend creating a diorama using the Japanese Autumn Leaves series.

◆This is a reproduction. There will be some changes to the destination sign stickers that come with the train. All other specifications remain the same as the previous product.
