Product Description
Manufactured in 2004 to coincide with the opening of the Kyushu Shinkansen, the 800 Series Shinkansen was based on the 700 Series. With a white-on-red color scheme that revolutionized the image of traditional Shinkansen trains, it continues to serve as the image leader of the Kyushu Shinkansen. In 2009, the 1000 series was introduced as part of the new 800 series, undergoing minor changes in preparation for the full-scale opening of the Kyushu Shinkansen. At the same time, the 0 series also underwent renovations, including the expansion of the multipurpose room and car sales preparation room of the 826 series.
About the Actual Vehicle
The 800 series Shinkansen, manufactured in 2004 to coincide with the opening of the Kyushu Shinkansen, was based on the 700 series and, with its white-on-red color scheme that revolutionized the image of the traditional Shinkansen, continues to serve as the image leader of the Kyushu Shinkansen to this day. The 800 series has finally arrived on the popular Endo Shinkansen Line.
Both the 0 series and the 1000 series will be produced, with the 0 series scheduled for renewal after 2009.
