The popularity of the Ford Zodiac spanned three decades from the 1950s right through to the 1970s and during that time its two-tone colour schemes varied from relatively sober blends to high visibility! The 1950s American influence was very prevalent on both the Zodiac and its contemporary Ford Zephyr. The Zodiac in particular sported extended tail fins, a wide front grille and fine whitewall tyres, not to mention the chrome work, which are all faithfully replicated in Oxford miniature. However, it came without wing mirrors, for some Ford reasoning.
