Privately Owned Freight Car: Taki 1000 Series (Nippon Oil Transportation/ENEOS, with Tail Lights)

The Taki 1000 series is a tank car exclusively for gasoline, which began operation in 1993.

It has a frameless structure similar to the Taki 43000 series and can carry 45 tons of gasoline.

It uses FT21 bogies, enabling it to travel at 95 km/h.

Some Taki 1000 series cars have the ENEOS and Eco-Rail markings on the side of the body.

Some Taki 1000 series cars, which are coupled to the rear of some trains, are equipped with illuminated tail lights.
