Kato 3086 N scale EH800 electric vehicle

●JR Freight's EH800 is the first AC electric locomotive since the transition to JR, replacing the ED79 and EH500, which would no longer be able to operate on the Tsugaru Kaikyo Line due to the opening of the Hokkaido Shinkansen between Shin-Aomori and Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto. It is equipped with an LCX antenna, a train radio system similar to that used on Shinkansen trains, and the LCX antennas on the two end car bodies give it a distinctive bulge. In addition to pulling freight trains between Higashi-Aomori and Goryokaku, it also pulled the group-only train "Cassiopea Cruise" from June 2016 to February 2017.
