●The EF65 1000 series locomotive, introduced in 1969, is a general-purpose DC electric locomotive designed specifically for flat terrain, combining multi-unit control with operation in cold climates. It has played a vital role in various uses, including passenger transport (including the Blue Train) and general freight transport.
◆Enjoy the design from around 1990; at that time, the H-shaped rubber around the windows had not yet been replaced with black, and the license plates were not updated. Recommended for hauling the upcoming <10-2219/2220 24-series 25-type sleeper express "Seto/Asakaze"> and the planned <10-561/562 Orient Express '88> to be released in January 2026.

① An EF65 1000 series locomotive model from around 1990, when the sleeper express train "Seto" incorporated a rest car.
② Uses gray H-shaped rubber and lacks snow removal equipment.
③ Uses a PS22 pantograph to accurately reproduce the roof details and sharp body lines.
④ Uses a slotless motor for smooth and quiet operation.
⑤ Headlights are illuminated (using warm white LEDs).
⑥ Comes with an Arnold connector; replacement tow hooks are also included.
⑦ The manufacturer's nameplate "Kawasaki Heavy Industries/Fujimoto," inspection mark "Omiya 2-6 Workshop," modification markings, safety device markings, and JR logo are all faithfully reproduced in print.
⑧ Optional license plates are included: "1109," "1110," "1113," and "1124."
⑨ Standard quick-start front badge. "Seto" and "Odori" front badges are also included.
