Kato 22-243-3 Sound Card < 381 Series >
●The 381 series, the only tilting train of the former JNR that was used for commercial service, was modified after the privatization of the railways to increase the number of possible train services. The 381 series operated by the Shinano Line at the Jōryō Electric Train Depot, and had various configurations, including the high-driver's cabin 0 series, the panoramic car 10 series, and the 50 series. Among them, the KURO 381 0 series, a mid-modified car, is characterized by its single door on the front and a large, protruding gangway cover. It was used in various formations, such as with seasonal additions, according to the general demand.
● A new sound card has been released that allows you to enjoy running of the 381 series railway model with sound. This product captures the fascinating sound experience of the 381 Series. It recreates the unique sound of the MT58 motor, as well as the rolling sounds visualising the train's original demanding operation, all while maintaining the feeling of the National Railways express trains.
This product uses a "sound synchronization" type where the speed of the train changes according to the acceleration and deceleration of the sound. It also features a "synchronization setting save" function. Once you set it to controller-priority mode, the setting will remain active until manually changed, making it easy for newcomers to enjoy running trains with sound boxes.
