Kato 10-1983 N-Spec KoKi 105 "Toyota Longpath Express" (Ecoliner) (10-Car Set)
● The "Toyota Longpath Express" is a container freight train that has been in operation since 2006 to transport Toyota parts. Blue 31-foot containers carrying Toyota parts produced in the Chukyo region are loaded onto KoKi 105 cars, which are coupled together in a formation of approximately 20 cars and transported to the assembly plant in Morioka. In recent years, the train has been operating with the words "BIG ECO LINER" and the current logo of its owner, Nippon Express.
◆ The popular container train "Toyota Longpath Express," known for its uniform formation, is now available as a product. The KoKi 105 and U55A containers are newly produced, and the 3034-7 EF210 100 series single-arm pantograph new paint job, ideal for the towing locomotive, will also be released at the same time. Combining the two sets allows you to recreate a full, impressive formation.
① A new large 31ft wing container, the U55A, has been created. The nearly identical U54A has been recreated with differences in markings and stripe color. Just like the actual train, this KoKi 105 train features a mixed U54A and U55A containers.
② The large "Ecoliner" logo on the side of the container and Nippon Express's current "NX" logo are accurately reproduced.
③ The color difference (gray) in the center of the container's top surface, as well as the stripe color and pattern on the top edge of the side and end panels, are reproduced.
④ Different positions of the non-standard marking (hello mark) are created for the 10-car set and individual items.
⑤ A new two-car KoKi 105 container freight car unit is being created (even-numbered cars are reused from odd-numbered cars, so some specifications differ from the actual train).
⑥ The KoKi 105's frame shape, with a hollow floor, allows details such as piping to be seen, and is meticulously reproduced.
⑦ A reflector is included for attachment to the end of the train.
