Kato 10-1858 N Scale 211 Series 5000 (Chuo Line) 4-Car Basic Set

●The 211 Series 5000 was introduced in 1988 as a replacement for the 103 and 113 Series, which were used for commuter and suburban transport at JR Central. The 5000 Series was introduced to suit JR Central's transport situation, with 3 or 4 cars in each train, and was used in conjunction with other trains depending on demand. Unlike the same model for the Tokaido Main Line Shizuoka area, it features a leading car with a toilet and intermediate trailer cars.

◆The 211 Series for the Chuo Line will be produced in the 5000 Series 4-car basic set and 3-car set, and the 5600 Series 4-car extension set. Enjoy combining each set to create a long train of up to 10 cars, coupling with the 313 Series, and driving with the sound of the '22-242-7 Sound Card <211 Series 5000 Series>'.

Main features

①Productization of the K15 formation (basic set of 4 5000 series cars), K7 formation (additional set of 4 5600 series cars), and K111 formation (3-car set of 5000 series cars) belonging to the Jinryou Vehicle Depot around 2022 (Reiwa 4)

②Reproduction of the exterior with a large through door window, front window on the passenger side, and inverter cooler

③Newly produced intermediate trailer cars and leading cars with toilets that are different from the formations of the Shizuoka Vehicle Depot

④Different sizes of side display curtains are created for each vehicle

⑤The bogies and underfloor are equipped with gray reinforced skirts, and the roof is equipped with a C-PS27 single-arm pantograph

⑥The front display is printed with "Nagoya". Includes replacement front display ("Rapid" and "Tajimi" - plain)

⑦ In addition to the curtain-type destination display stickers, LED-type displays are also included so that you can enjoy the atmosphere of the first train

⑧ Slotless motor is used to achieve smooth and quiet running

⑨ Head/tail lights and train number display lights up (uses white LEDs. With switch to turn off)
