Kato 10-017 N Scale Starter Set 313 Series “Tokai Suburban Train”


The 313 Series is a DC suburban train operated by JR Central (JR Tokai), with different variants offering unique seat configurations and train lengths. The 1300 subseries, featured in this set, is a 2-car one-man compatible train with rotating cross seats and long seats at the car ends. These trains are currently active on the Chūō Main Line and Kansai Main Line, serving regional commuters with both comfort and efficiency.

◆ This all-in-one starter set includes a fully up-to-date 313 Series train along with everything needed to get started: track (UNITRACK) and a power pack for train control. It’s a perfect entry point for beginners, with plenty of room to expand. As your layout grows, you can add more 313 or 211 Series cars to form longer consists or expand the track system to run alongside other trains active in the Tokai region—ideal for recreating realistic local operations.

② The included train is the same specification as the <10-1932 313 Series 1300 (Chūō Main Line / Kansai Main Line) 2-Car Set>, ensuring full compatibility with individual releases.
③ Powering the set is the Power Pack Standard SX, a user-friendly, high-output (1.2A) controller, paired with a dedicated AC adapter 
designed specifically for starter sets.

Included track is equivalent to the UNITRACK M1 Set, providing a complete loop layout that’s ready to run right out of the box. By adding components from the UNITRACK V Track Set Series, you can easily expand your layout into more complex or larger configurations.
