雪絨花普曼特快列車

「雪絨花號」於 1928 年至 1979 年間途經阿爾薩斯和盧森堡往返於瑞士和荷蘭之間，期間因戰爭而中斷。直到 1939 年，這列火車一直作為國際臥舖車公司 CIWL 運營的豪華列車從阿姆斯特丹開往巴塞爾，並在一段時間內也開往盧塞恩。第二次世界大戰後，雪絨花號最初作為普通特快列車運營，從 1957 年起成為新的歐洲快運系統 (TEE) 的首批列車對之一。該列車於 1979 年停駛。

鮮為人知的是，當時 CIWL 的 Edelweiss Pullman Express 是 Rheingold 的直接競爭對手。然而，直到第二次世界大戰之前，這列火車也與萊茵的黃金列車一起從巴塞爾南部行駛。

直到 1939 年，CIWL 才在「雪絨花號」上使用 1925 年以後製造的普爾曼客車。由於這些車廂配備了廚房和座位服務，因此通常沒有單獨的餐車，只有行李車廂。由於是日間列車，雪絨花號沒有臥舖車廂。通常，「雪絨花」至少由四輛普爾曼車廂和兩輛行李車廂組成。

新款 Arnold 型號 HN4490 和 HN4491 分別包含一輛行李車，在真正的「雪絨花」中，該行李車位於機車後面和火車尾部，還包含一輛帶廚房和不帶廚房的普爾曼車。其中兩輛客車是新車型：「Étoile du Nord」型 VP 和 VPC。所有車廂均有正宗的“雪絨花”火車運行標誌。
