Product Info

The Frecciarossa 1000 (ETR 1000) is Trenitalia’s most advanced high-speed train, developed in partnership between AnsaldoBreda (now Hitachi Rail Italy) and Bombardier Transportation. Designed for a top commercial speed of 360 km/h, it has been in service since 2015 and is certified to run in eight European countries. Its introduction has enabled the redeployment of the ETR 500 fleet to other domestic routes.

Models HN2619, in the most recent “Frecciarossa 1000” colours, and HN2620, with the special Ducati livery, are now available in standard, digital, and sound versions.

To complete your train set, the additional coaches HN3512 and HN3513 are also available!

Technical features:

All-new tooling
Powered front unit with drive on all wheels; rear unit with working lights
White headlights and red tail lights change automatically with the direction; extra front lights can be turned on separately
Powered unit equipped with Next18 NEM 662 decoder interface and predisposition for 11x15 mm “sugar cube” speaker; the rear unit also has a socket for a function decoder
Digital Sound versions come factory-fitted with DCC Sound + Fx decoders and speaker
Digital versions come factory-fitted with DCC + Fx decoders
Fully detailed roof equipment
Detailed covers over the wheels, just like the real train
Removable nose skirting allows rigid coupling for multiple-unit operation with two trainsets
Different wheelsets for motor and trailer cars, as on the real train
