[Product Features and Usage]

This is a miniature train model from the Z Shorty series body set.
When combined with separately sold powered and trailer chassis, it can operate like a standard Z scale vehicle.
The model is based on the Class 491, introduced in 1935 as the elT 1998, a single-car train designed for tourists and intended to compete with buses on routes with tighter turns.
Nicknamed the "Glass Train" due to its upper body made of glass for panoramic views, it offered passengers an exceptional viewing experience.
During its 60 years of service, the train traveled to various European countries connected by rail to Germany, including Austria, Switzerland, Italy, and France.
This model is based on the 1986 blue-painted version.
Both pantographs use etched parts and are designed to be raised and lowered.
The minimum operating radius is R45, making it extremely compact.
