Märklin 37449 HO Scale Class 146.5 Digital Sound Electric Locomotive

Background
Passengers in long-distance service had to wait a long time for new locomotives and coaches, but on September 23, 2015, the next generation of InterCity (IC) trains finally saw progress. The double-deck IC2 trains from Bombardier received preliminary approval from the German Federal Railway Authority (EBA).
These new trains feature push-pull configurations consisting of a Class 146.5 (TRAXX P160 AC2) electric locomotive and five TWINDEXX 2010 double-deck coaches. The interiors offer a modern level of comfort and equipment. The five-car set provides 465 seats, including 70 in first class.

This model represents a Class 146.5 electric locomotive of DB AG (German Railways), used in long-distance service.
