● Yo8000

• The Yo8000 series was introduced to replace aging brake vans and other similar cars, with a total of 1,170 units manufactured between 1974 and 1979. These cars were widely used in freight trains from Hokkaido to Kyushu, and as of 2019, they can still be seen in operation with JR Freight and Tobu Railway.
• The model reproduces the appearance of the deck steps with brake handles painted in white, suitable for recreating a wide range of freight train scenes from the JNR era to the present, including special transport trains.
• The prototype is a brake van (caboose) that appeared in 1975 and was active during the final years of JNR. It was widely used as a caboose on freight trains across Japan.
• The model reproduces the late 1970s appearance during the final years of the JNR era, featuring oil stove markings on both sides of the deck front and both ends of the car.
• White-painted steps on the side of the deck with the brake handle.
• Tail lights illuminate at both ends, and it is possible to install optional interior lighting. The model includes a light diffuser plate to evenly illuminate the interior.
• Car numbers and various markings are pre-printed.
• Equipped with standard Arnold couplers.
• Includes a replacement dummy coupler to enhance the appearance of the train composition at the ends.
• Black wheels are used.
