Kato 51-251D OO-9 Gauge "Welsh Pony" (BROWN)

This is KATO's first OO-9 (Double-O Nine) narrow-gauge scale model, realized through a collaboration with PECO. Enjoy the OO-9 scale models of steam locomotives representing the Ffestiniog Railway, a heritage railway with a track gauge of 597mm, operating in Snowdonia National Park, Wales, in the UK, in 1/76 scale and 9mm gauge.

Main Features:

Welsh Pony (BROWN), built in 1867, is part of the "Large England" class, an improved version of the earlier "Small England" class.
The model beautifully replicates the brown body with gold and red lining.
Newly designed wheel centers and nameplates.
Reproduces the large front handrails similar to those of "Prince."
Coreless motor ensures smooth and stable running, a hallmark of KATO steam locomotives. Equipped with traction tires, it can haul up to 3 PECO passenger cars on level track.
Accurately recreates the unique shape of the saddle tank and details such as handrails and piping.
Equipped with standard PECO couplers, with Arnold couplers included as replacements.
Minimum passing radius: R117 for the locomotive alone, R216 for the locomotive with PECO passenger cars.
DCC decoder can be installed by processing the locomotive section.
