Kato 3061-9 N Scale EF65 1118 Rainbow Painted Locomotive

●We are reproducing the 1118, the second generation of EF65 rainbow painted locomotives.

As the first rainbow painted locomotive, EF65 1019, became old, the EF65 1118, which appeared in 1997, features a design with the "EF65" logo on the side glass. Initially, the H-rubber color of each part was gray, but it was changed to black during the inspection in March 2000, which was a flower when the Super Express Rainbow was retired in the same month. Even after the passenger cars were retired, it continued to be used with the same paint, and in 2006, an air conditioner was installed, and during the inspection in 2009, the "EF65" logo on the side glass was omitted.

◆Recommended as a locomotive for pulling the 24 series 25 type sleeper express "Ginga", which is scheduled to be released at the same time.

Starting with this product, we will be using a slotless motor as the power source.
