Kato 10-019 E233 Ueno/Tokyo Line Starter Set

●In the Greater Tokyo Area, the E233 series 3000 stands out as the backbone of suburban commuter trains, operating extensively across the entire Kanto region. It often operates in formations of up to 15 cars, either coupled with other E233 series trains or alongside E231 series trains.
◆Experience the bustling atmosphere of the Ueno-Tokyo Line, where various trains, including the E231 series, E259 series, and E657 series limited express trains, crisscross each other.
◆In this release, we're making some changes: we're replacing the couplers on cars 10 and 11 with KATO tight-coupling couplers (without hooks) and adopting slotless motors for the power unit. Consequently, there will be adjustments to the product numbers, retail prices, and JAN codes of the basic set and additional formation set.

●Commercialization of the E16+E66 formation, part of the Kokufu Vehicle Center.
●Accurate reproduction of the distinctive features of JR East's Niitsu Rolling Stock Manufacturing Plant-made car bodies, showcasing differences in roof beadings (excluding Green Cars).
●Faithful replication of toilet-related facilities installed in Car No. 6, Moha E232-3800 series, including the windowless design of the toilet section and representation of the waste disposal unit beneath the floor.
●Illumination of both head and tail lights, as well as the front display, on each leading car. Car No. 10 () and Car No. 11 () are equipped with a switch for light deactivation.
●Dummy couplers are used for the front couplers of Car No. 1 and Car No. 15, while Car No. 10 and Car No. 11 feature KATO coupler close-coupling type (without hooks), with electrical connections included. Additionally, each set includes one coupler and electrical connection for coupling with existing products.
●Standard equipment for intermediate couplings includes body-mounted KATO coupler close-coupling type, ensuring realistic coupling faces and smooth running.
●Pre-printed destination display "Local/Ueno Tokyo Line Direct to Utsunomiya Line." Spare front displays " are also provided.
●Utilization of a slotless motor for smooth and quiet operation.
●Expansion Set A (4 cars) incorporates a 10-car bookcase for storing the contents of the Basic Set (4 cars) and Expansion Set B (2 cars).
