Product Introduction
This book is a reference collection of images featuring structures that ground modelers may find essential for recreating nostalgic Japanese landscapes. While there are many publications focused on railway vehicles, finding records of structures—particularly those buildings and scenes that remained from the late Showa era to the Heisei era—is surprisingly difficult.
The landscapes around stations and the views from the station fronts to the towns have changed over the years, and buildings that stood just recently have been torn down and replaced with new ones before you even notice. This collection compiles nostalgic scenes of station buildings, railway facilities, and station-front and townscape structures that seem to have disappeared without being recorded. The images are presented in full color (with some black-and-white photos included).
The first edition covers a wide array of structures from station buildings in the Kanto area to the townscape buildings and accessories, including diagrams based on actual measurements.
Format: A4, 100 pages, full-color, illustrated, no book code.
